However if for example a DJ is playing copyrighted songs in your video or there's an organist and choir singing in the Church we have to purchase an MCPS/PPL licence as well
DO I NEED PERMISSION FROM THE CHURCH FOR YOU TO RECORD THE SERVICE/CEREMONY?
Yes. Yes, in most cases. To avoid any unnecessary confusion or embarrassment should filming have to be halted by the authorities always approach the local council, organiser or appropriate persons responsible and seek permission. For most public places permission will be granted and no fee is liable but this needs confirming well before the Wedding or event
